It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Ralph Manske (Algona, Iowa), who passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Manske and Beverly Manske (Oothoudt); and his in-laws, Richard and Peggy Lallier. He is survived by: his wife Linda Lallier; his children, Scott Manske (Jessica) of Algona and Angie Teeter (Donnie) of Albert Lea, MN; his grandsons, Tyler, Alex, Nathan, Jack Manske, Drew and Noah Teeter; his siblings, Terry Anderson (Kim) of Windom, MN, Bob Manske (Lynn) of Mankato, MN, Ron Manske (Dana) of LeSueur, MN and Bill Manske (Deb) of Algona, IA; and also, Diane Bruns (Russ) of Titonka, Marlene Lallier of Humboldt and Todd Lallier (Mindy) of Baldwin City, KS. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (201 E Nebraska St, Algona, IA 50511). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Dick's name and directed to the Algona Community School Foundation, P.O. Box 129 Algona, Iowa 50511, to set up a Scholarship in Dick's honor.

He introduced me to the world of pheasant hunting, spending Saturday nights at the track watching 9M win many races and becoming a close friend during our bike trips to Sturgis with Mark and Phil.
