K.) and Susie Altman Kohlhaas; his wives, Irene Youngwirth, Dottie "Dorothy" Mehlisch and Mary Jo Dugan; his granddaughter Sarah Kramer; his sons-in-law, Francis Kenne and Michael Lex; and his siblings, Donald Kohlhaas, Arthur Kohlhaas (Eleanor), Mary Evelyn Kohlhaas and Darlene Bernhard (Dave).

He is survived by: his children, Yvonne Kenne of Mason City, Jerome Kohlhaas (Joan) of Hardy, Sandy Berte (Don) of Raleigh, NC, Karen Minaie of Tampa, FL, Jeff Kohlhaas (Diane) of Costa Mesa, CA, Kim Lex of Omaha, NE and Jim Kohlhaas (Cyndi) of Algona; and his siblings-in-law, Marian Youngwirth of Sherburn, MN, Diane Methner of Lee's Summit, MO, Dottie Rusher of Humboldt, David Mehlisch (Jacqueline) of Ft. Myers, FL and Donald Mehlisch (Polly) of San Antonio, TX. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
