With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merlin A. Eischeid (Algona, Iowa), who passed away on February 26, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysius Eischeid and Josephine Eischeid (Truhe); his parents-in-law, Harold and June Opheim; and his brothers-in-law, Herbert Knecht and Marvin Kramer.
He is survived by: his wife Kim Eischeid of Algona; his sons, Mark (Carol Eischeid) and Steve Eischeid of Algona; his stepsons, Darin Krug of Algona, Shane Krug of Ames and Dylan Krug of Ames; his grandchildren, Seth and Jordan Eischeid; and his sisters, Esther Knecht of Floyd and Irene Kramer of Algona. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
