He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Laubenthal and Helen Laubenthal (Kollasch); and his siblings, Irma Gindling, Imelda Krieger and Maurice Laubenthal.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Laubenthal of Algona; his children, Anne Laubenthal (Earl Rollinger) of Marshalltown and Alan Laubenthal (Sandra); his grandchildren, Aric and Nick of Whittemore; his daughter Amy Gallagher (Mark); his grandchildren, Gavin, Noelle, Will of Johnston and Ava Allen (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Caleb, Declan, Reese of Naperville, IL, Anita Benton (Jay) and Andrew Laubenthal (Mindy); his sister Regina Kaiser of Algona; his siblings-in-law, Marguerite Laubenthal of Algona and Glen Gindling of Waterloo; and also, Jack, Drew, Annie of Naperville, IL, Kaya and Layne of Algona. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
