It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn McGuire Andreasen of Algona, Iowa, who passed away on June 12, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John T. McGuire and Zelda McGuire (Burtis); her husbands, Al Kuester and Jim Andreasen; her sisters, Marion Will, Doris Potter and Madonna Skogstrom Ryan; her siblings-in-law, Cecil Will, Donald Potter, Cliff Skogstrom, Joseph Ryan and DeAnne McGuire; her nephew John T. "Jack" McGuire III; her niece Molly Hiscocks; her great-nephew Charlie Hiscocks; and her great-niece Emma Hiscocks.
She is survived by: her former husband Allan F. Kuester; her stepsons, Charles Kuester (Lori), Stephen Kuester (Antoinette) and Daniel Kuester (Monique); her grandchildren, Andrea, Paige, Carson Buffington, Kalena, Ian Kuester, Rebecca Kuester and Delaney Andreasen; her brother John T. "Terry" McGuire II; and her nieces and nephews, Tim Will (Patty), Douglas McGuire (Tanya), Ryan McGuire (Melissa), Jane Skogstrom (Michael Sipe), Joan Skogstrom (Philip Pitzen), Cathy Potter Hayes and Cindy Potter Higgins (Coach).
Per Midge's request, the family asks for no flowers.
