We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2021, at the age of 86, Marilyn L. Benson of Algona, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Simpson and Helen Simpson (Batt); her husband Charles L. Benson; and her children, Debra Gaedke and Brett.
She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Benson (Kim) of Whittemore and Steve Benson (Jean) of Ankeny; her children-in-law, Cheryl Benson of Crystal, MN and Terry Gaedke of Algona; her grandson Ben Benson (Riley) of Omaha, NE; her great grandchildren, Bohden, Chad Benson (Heidi) of Bondurant, Hallie, Sadie, Nathan Benson (Rebecca) of Pierre, SD and Brittany Blythe (Todd) of Polk City; and also, Jace, Kaylin, Brock Benson (Abbey) of Glenwood, Amy, Logan Gaedke of Ames, Liana Parsons (Troy "Jake") of Ft. Carson, CO, Odessa and Maddox.
Social distancing practices will followed and masks are required.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Heartland in memory of Marilyn.
