He is survived by: his wife Colleen DeSloover of Algona; his children, Chastity Briggs (Brad Fisher) of Brandon, SD, Michael Briggs (Marissa) of Belmond, Jeremiah Briggs (Denise) of Des Moines, Kate Waters (Todd Bozarth) of Des Moines and Karen Abben (Jim Bozworth) of Algona; his stepchildren, Stacy Miller of Cedar Rapids, Amy Binning of Algona and Scott Binning of Algona; his brother Dale Briggs (JoAnn) of Algona; and his stepfather Dale Larson. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
