He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Simpson and Dorthy June Simpson (Patton); and his son Kenneth Simpson. He is survived by: his children, Jessica Simpson of Fort Dodge, Heather Hruska (Donald) of Fort Dodge, Joe Simpson (Sarah) of Rockwell City, Leslie Ann Simpson (James Hruska) of Fort Dodge, John Simpson (Sarah) of Fort Dodge and Erin Simpson of Homestead; and his siblings, Jane Lenz (Michael) of Scranton, PA, Jerry Simpson of Algona, Chuck Simpson of Algona, Dean Simpson (Shari) of Algona and Roger Simpson (Roxie) of Algona. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren.
