She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore "Ted" and Bernadine Hilbert (Plathe); and her brothers, Duane and Donald Hilbert. She is survived by: her former husband Joseph Kahler; her husband Joe of Algona; her son Adam (Brandi Kahler); her grandchildren, Faith, Maddy and Karlee of Burt; her great grandchild Christopher Kahler of Algona; and her sister Bernadette Bradford of LuVerne. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law.
