With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laura L. Voigt (Algona, Iowa), who passed away on December 22, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Broesder and Loretta Broesder (Walker); her husband Jim Voigt; her brother Marvin Broesder; and her brother-in-law Raymond Gerdes.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Voigt (Janice) of Tyler, TX and Karla Ertelt (Scott) of Algona; her grandchildren, Lynette Lindsey (Gary) of Liberty City, TX, Jolette Miller (Miles) of Lindale, TX, Cody Voigt (Kristina Jacobson) of Tyler, TX, Clifford Ertelt (Sara) of Grimes, Austin Virasy-Ertelt (Victoria) of St. Paul, MN and Adam Voigt (Kasey Lingo) of Palestine, TX; her sister Marian Gerdes of Marshalltown; and her sister-in-law Virginia Broesder of Lone Rock. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Social distancing practices will be followed, and masks are required at both the memorial service and visitation.
