She is survived by: her father Dale Wegener of Emmetsburg, Iowa; her siblings, Brian (Julie) of Superior, Iowa and Karen Thilges (Brian) of Algona, Iowa; her nephew Andrew (Kayla); her great-nephew Jax Thilges of Owatonna; her niece Amanda Thilges of Cedar Falls, Iowa.; her aunt Lou; and her cousin Jana. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Most recently, she earned top honors for her photography from the Iowa Newspaper Foundation.
