It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Kay Speich of Algona, Iowa, born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on June 5, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Boyd and Martha Imhoff (Trickel); her sister Peggy Jo Groff; and her in-laws, Antone, Ellen Speich, Linda Bethune, Denny Hovinga, Buzz and Nancy Imhoff.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Speich; her children, Kevin Speich of Algona, Daryl Speich of Algona and LeAnn Boyken (Harlan Tulp) of Belmond; her grandson Anthony Speich of Algona; her siblings, Pat Hovinga of Laurens and Garry Imhoff (Betty) of Lohrville; and her sisters-in-law, Della Speich of Hampton and Marva Speich of Marion.
