She was predeceased by: her fathers, Lyle Elizabeth Pugh (McEnroe) and William Pugh; her husband Darrell Virgil Nielsen of LuVerne, Iowa.; her sons-in-law, Richard (Dick Ebeling) and Tom Corl; and also Dorothy Blanchard (Howard).
She is survived by: her children, Kristy Corl, Julie Langhoff Ebeling (Kurt Lichty) and James Nielsen (Deborah); her grandchildren, Jacob Langhoff, Sara Peterson (Kyle), Tamie Ames (Monte), Eric Burgher, Sarah SuMarzio (Julie), Amy May, Ricky Ludwig (Aimee) and Jamie Sowers (Albert); and her great grandchildren, Anna, Ryen, Emerson, Ava, Brynn, Leo, Mikayla, Kaiden, Emma and Harrison.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the First United Methodist Church (119 S. Georgia Ave. Mason City Iowa 50401), the Community Kitchen of Iowa Inc. (606 N. Monroe Ave. M.C.), or the Hawkeye Harvest Food Bank (122 Adams Ave. M.C.).
