He is survived by: his children, Lisa Leonard (Randy) of Spencer, Linda Knecht (Eugene) of Whittemore, Jim Smith (Jackie) of Algona and Mike Smith (Kristin) of Clarinda; his grandchildren, Kali Morris (Kyle) of Conifer, CO, Logan Smith of Algona, Austin Smith (Abby) of Cedar Falls, IA, Owen Smith and Isabelle Smith of Clarinda; his great grandchild Kenna Morris; and his brother-in-law Jim Hoffmann of Algona.
