He was predeceased by: his parents, Pat and Luella; and his brother Billy. He is survived by: his significant other Connie Bird; his children, Bill Murphy (Kim) of Algona, Michael Murphy (Emily) of Algona and Bridget Atkinson (Tyler) of Algona; his grandchildren, Kellen, Reagan, Owen, Ethan and Andrew; and his siblings, Betty Blake (Bill) of Omaha, NE, Mary McGrath (Bob), Judy Brown (Tom), Rose Kain of Algona, Barb Geilenfeld (Chuck) of Oelwein, Bryan Murphy (Manita) of Algona, Kathy Nelson (Steve) of Algona and Pat Murphy (Sue) of Algona. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
