He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Benson and Evelyn Benson (Maki); and his brothers, Robert Benson and Theodore Benson. He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Benson (Amy) of Titonka, Iowa, Franklin Benson of Garden, Michigan, Eva Doucette of Scarborough, Maine, Jenifer Kallio (Gordon) of Valparaiso, Indiana and Christine Ferrin of Hamilton, Michigan.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
