She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Westerlund and Rojeanne Westerlund (Norland); her daughters, Amy Jo Ryan and Ashley Ryan; and her sister Eve Monson.
She is survived by: her husband Brian Boyle of Algona; her children, Matt Symonds (Megan Prentice) of Algona, Nick Symonds (Melissa Orr), Holly Ryan of Algona and Erin Ryan of Algona; her grandchildren, Caitlin, Hayden and Jasmine; and her siblings, Jeanna Perschbacher (Scott) of Algona, Paula Bernhard (Shane Zwiefel) of Lone Rock and Sam Monson of Titonka.
