She is survived by: her husband Shorty; her children, Steve Mertz (Sheryl) of Robbinsdale, MN, Julie Mertz of Eden Prairie, MN and Craig Mertz (Sheri) of Carroll, Iowa; her grandchildren, Nicole Mertz of Austin, TX, Sarah Mertz of Council Bluffs, Jill Mertz of Robbinsdale, Kelsey Hilgenberg (Kolby) of Norwalk, Nate Mertz of Carroll and Alli Mertz of Carroll; and her siblings, Dolores Inman, Don Haupert (Mary), Marilyn Bjustrom (Chuck), Patty McGuire (Jerry), Marge Drown and Darlene Thilges (Cyril). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
