She is survived by: her husband John Diekmann of Algona; her son Mark of Des Moines; her grandsons, Jordan Shimon of Algona and Evan Shimon of Ankeny; her son-in-law Lawerance Shimon of Ankeny; and her sisters, Emily Youngworth of Lu Verne and Delores Daugard of Britt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
