It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerome Weydert (Algona, Iowa), who passed away on January 8, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jerome Weydert to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas J. Weydert (Classie) and Agnes Weydert (Levek); his stepmother Carolyn Weydert; and his nephew Jamie Weydert. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Carolyn Faber; his siblings, Harlan Weydert, Bode and Sheryl Soden of Ames, IA; and his nieces and nephews, Christopher Weydert (Amber) of Algona, Corey Weydert of Ankeny, Arnie Soden (Jessica), Ami Boehlje (Todd) of St. Louis, April Richardson (Lee) of Sachse, TX, Jenny Weydert Pflumm of Stuttgard and Germany. He is also survived by 17 great nieces and nephews.
The family requests no flowers and contributions can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association in his name or a scholarship fund set up for future nurses who had a soft spot in his heart.
