It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice P. Lappin (Algona, Iowa), who passed away on April 14, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oran T. Hudson and Elsie Hudson (Egel); her husband Richard; her son-in-law Jason Hanchett; and her sisters, Nancy Bollinger (Lloyd) and Inez Jane Potratz (Ed).
She is survived by: her children, Lori Hanchett of Algona, Lisa Thompson (Rick), Larry Lappin (Carol Laubenthal) of Algona and Lonny Lappin (Jennifer) of Johnston; and her brother Larry Hudson of Algona. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
