She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Hanna and Esther Hanna (Bjelland); and her husband William Allen. She is survived by: her children, Diane Moehle (Doug) of Northwood, Linda Ristau (Tom) of Whittemore, Nancy Johnson (Jerry) of Sioux Falls, SD, Jim Allen (Mary) of Rosemount, MN and John Allen of Ledyard. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials will be directed to Hospice of the Heartland or the Kossuth County Animal Rescue in Jan's memory.
