It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Sprout (Algona, Iowa), born in Cylinder, Iowa, who passed away on February 20, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Herbert and Leone Mary Sprout (Lenz); his son Robert; and his siblings, Beverly O'Brien, Joyce Elmore and John Sprout.
He is survived by: his wife Rose of Algona; his sons, Larry Sprout of Madrid and Stephen Sprout of Algona; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Sprout of Washington State, Sister Mary Herman of Dubuque and Michael Platt of Mankato, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kossuth County Cancer Support Foundation in Jim's name.
