It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James H. Fickbohm of Algona, Iowa, who passed away on January 18, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James H. Fickbohm to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Fickbohm and Theresa Fickbohm (Origer); his sisters, Jeanne and Janice; and his parents-in-law, Louis and Evelyn Ferstl.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Ferstl; his children, Laurie Arp (Shane) of Ankeny, Macy Dieleman (Chase) of Ankeny and Justin Fickbohm of Chicago, IL; his grandchildren, Layla, Tyson, Hadley, Sawyer Arp and Dieleman; his siblings, Pat Schilmoeller, Mary Ann Campney (Jim), Nancy Emmert (Gary), Karen Winrich (Ben), Maurice Fickbohm (Ann), Donald Fickbohm (Becky) and David Fickbohm (Jan); and his siblings-in-law, Mark Ferstl and Nancy Nelson (Doug). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to Bishop Garrigan Catholic School in memory of Jim.
