With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Leigh of Algona, Iowa, who passed away on March 23, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Elsbecker and Anna Elsbecker (Werdel); her husband Marvin Leigh; her son Albert; and her siblings, Donald Elsbecker, Estelle Kadow (Elsbecker), Dennis Elsbecker, Georgia Elsbecker and John Elsbecker.
She is survived by: her children, Georgia, David, Douglas, Laura, Christopher and Scott; her grandchildren, Rick Leigh of Kennewick, WA, William Atkisson (Annie) of Omaha, NE, Mitchell Atkisson of Omaha, NE, Leigha Atkisson of Omaha, NE, Ryan Leigh (Katie) of Omaha, NE, Veronica Leigh of Omaha, NE, Elizabeth Leigh of St. Louis, MO, Eric Leigh of Ithaca, NY, Robert Leigh of Omaha, NE, Gretta Leigh of Ames, IA and Daniel Leigh of Ames, IA.; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte Wright and Jacob Atkisson. She is also survived by 7 children, 11 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
