He is survived by: his children, Jeff Flaherty of Albertville, MN, Nancy Foertsch Brenneman (Terry) of Ruthven and Erin Thilges of Algona; his grandchildren, Adam Flaherty (Carisa), Mackenzie Huber (Brent), Craig Flaherty (Erica), Sadie Foertsch Greenwald (Tim), Nicholas Foertsch, Charlie Thilges (MyKayla) and Caitlin Thilges; his stepgrandchildren, Joelle Brenneman Treschmann and Jill Brenneman Loria (Jeremy); his great grandchildren, Liam, Cole, Andi Huber, June and Mavis Flaherty; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Madeline and Mason Loria; and his siblings, Ray (Linda Rouse), Joe (Diane Condon), Jim (Shiela Roche), Denny (Jan Flaherty), Duane Flaherty (Darrell) and Cheri Bethke.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, only 15 individuals are allowed at a time and masks are required.
