He is survived by: his children, Rick (Julie McKenzie) of Ankeny, IA, Jeri Steinmetz (Tom) of Batavia, IL, Randy Nielsen (Kim) of O'Fallon, MO and Judi Eyles (Gary) of Ames, IA; his grandchildren, Jen McAnaney (Michael), Julie Campbell (Stefan), Randi Leigh Nielsen, Alex Nielsen (Kelli), Hunter Nielsen (Cassie), Daniel Steinmetz, Jeremy Wofford (Rene), Benjamin Eyles and Amy Eyles; and his great grandchildren, Delphine, Atlas McAnaney, Kai, Dax, Maecy, Sadie Nielsen, Burke, Rhys Campbell, Gus Fritz and Noah Wofford.
Memorial contributions may be designated to Algona High School, Algona High School Wrestling, or the Algona Masonic Temple.
