It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Vincent Lickteig of Algona, Iowa, who passed away on August 16, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Lickteig and Rose Lickteig (McMahon); and his siblings, Joan Lickteig (Patricia), Charles Lickteig, Joan Elbert (Lickteig), Mary Jane Lickteig and Ambrose "Timothy" Lickteig.

He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Thilges Lickteig of West Bend; his children, Angela Reinders (John) of Missouri Valley, Linda Lickteig (Jim Purnell) of Treynor, Gary Lickteig of Algona and Kim Lickteig (Dan Leuthner) of Deerfield, IL; and his grandsons, Dillon Reinders, Maxwell Leuthner and Vincent Leuthner.
