He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Nettleton and Lillie Nettleton (Knight); and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his wife Jane Dannewitz; his children, Dan Nettleton (Karen) of Ames, Jeremy Nettleton (Brita) of Palmer, AK and Jennifer Roberts (Seth) of Granville, OH; and his grandchildren, Sam Nettleton, Kate Nettleton, Owen Nettleton and Lena Nettleton.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (520 N Garfield St, Algona, IA 50511). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location.
Memorials in Don's name may be sent to Algona Community School Foundation or the Stinson Prairie Arts Council.
