He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lanus and Irene Lanus (Krause); and his daughter Elizabeth Lanus. He is survived by: his wife Leona Anliker; and his children, Cal Lanus (Janet) of Algona, Lori Perrigo (Randy) of Ankeny, Nancy Loeschen (Jeff) of Algona and Steve Lanus (Lorene) of Algona.
