With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dema Janssen of Algona, Iowa, who passed away on September 10, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former spouse Wilber Phillip Janssen; her husband Wayne Keith; her son James; her siblings, Gwendolyn Stueve, Dona Faye Dahlberg and George Hoyt; and her daughter-in-law Janet Janssen.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Janssen (Nancy) of Ames, Gerald of Algona, LeRoy Janssen (Barbara) of Titonka, Betty Sangel (Thomas) of Spirit Lake, Melvin Janssen (Judy) of Emmetsburg and Randy Janssen (Nancy) of Emmetsburg. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
Memorials may be made in Dema's name and directed to Hospice of the Heartland or the Good Samaritan Care Center Christmas Fund.
