David Edward Anderson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Edward Anderson of Algona, Iowa, born in Boone, Iowa, who passed away on September 1, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Anderson and Verna Anderson (Nelson); his siblings, Mary Louise, Glenyce, Robert, Eldon and Paul; his sisters-in-law, Sharon and Fonda; his niece Marcia Anderson; and his daughter-in-law Allison Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Phelan of Algona; his children, John Anderson of Titonka and Laura Anderson Rice (Patrick) of Mt. Juliet, TN; and his grandchildren, David Rice (Vanessa) of Littleton, CO, Kristina Rice (Tanner Hinders) and Jessica Anderson of Philadelphia, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials/donations be made to either Kossuth County Conservation, the forest restoration project via Lentz Funeral Home's website's "plant a tree" link or St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
