We bid farewell to Connie Jean Ristau of Algona, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 24, 2025 at the age of 76. Connie Jean touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Georgiann Luetta Sanford (Baumgartner) and Wayne Sanford; and her husband Daryl Ristau. She is survived by: her daughters, Gina Cook of Algona and Laura Schiek (Mike) of Fort Dodge; her grandchildren, Lydia of Ames and Ellie of Fort Dodge; her siblings-in-law, Susan Hefty, Carol Easterhaus (Pete) and David Ristau; her pets, Moose, Brea, Bailey, Beau and Frank; her in-laws, Harold and Martha Ristau; and her siblings-in-law, Dennis Hefty and Melissa Ristau.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Trinity Life Center at Trinity Lutheran Church (520 N Garfield St, Algona, IA 50511). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (520 N Garfield St, Algona, IA 50511).
