He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sarazine and Estella Sarazine (Fitzgibbons); and his sister Dolores Becker. He is survived by: his wife Maryanna of Algona; his daughters, Annette Sarazine-Jensen (Monte), Julia Gorey (Tom), Lisa Elsenbast (Frank) and Monica Anderegg (Scott); his grandchildren, Rachel, Reid Jensen, Sophie, Claudia, Quinn Elsenbast, Genevieve and Charles Anderegg; and his sisters, Amorita Blizek and Patsy Sieh.
