He is survived by: his children, Regina (Tom Neville) of Edina, Minn., Mary Ann (Joe Hasselbach) of Burlington, Vt., Greg (Stacey Lickteig) of Omaha, Neb., Carla Lickteig of Omaha, Neb. and Wanda Lickteig of St. Paul, Minn.; his grandchildren, Katie, James, Emily Neville, Grace, Jack, Andrew, Nicholas Hasselbach, Colin Hill, Margaret, Clare and Peter Lickteig; and his siblings, Donald Lickteig (Evelyn Lickteig) of Algona, Iowa, Mary Lickteig of Omaha, Neb. and Tim Lickteig of Pittsburgh, Penn..

Lickteig, a farmer rooted in faith, family and the rich black soil of Kossuth County, Iowa, died at Immanuel Fontenelle Home in Omaha, Neb., on Oct. 27, 2020, from complications of Parkinson's disease.
