Cecil Lee Wattermann Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 13, 2023, at the age of 88, Cecil Lee Wattermann (Algona, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wattermann and Leora Wattermann (Benne); his parents-in-law, Wilmer and Clarabelle Rehbein; his brothers-in-law, Don Pagels and Curt Rehbein; and his nephew Rick Wattermann.

He is survived by: his wife Lucile; his great grandchildren, Linda (Duane), Dean (Kaye), Lyle (Sally) and Janelle (Peter); his siblings, Ruth Pagels of West Point, NE, Neoma Stelling (Lee) of Orchard, NE and Will Waterman (Dolly) of Woodland Hills, CA; his siblings-in-law, Beverly Rehbein of Lincoln, NE and Bruce Rehbein (Debby) of Oakland, NE; and also, Stephanie Bonk (Brian), Clara, Brian (Haley), Molly, Nathan (Erin), Joshua, Grace, Julia and Wesley. He is also survived by five children, thirteen grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church, Algona Community School Foundation, Exceptional Opportunities, Inc., Water's Edge Nature Center or Wayne State College in Wayne, NE.
