She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris Pedersen and Thora Pedersen (Pedersen); her sister Helen Simonson; and also, Andrew, Melvin, Lester and Robert Pedersen.
She is survived by: her former spouse Eddie Wilcox; her husband Ed of Algona; her children, Kris Schlievert (Mick) of Algona, Jo Ebbert (Bob) of Mahtomedi, MN, Karen Albert (Jeff) of Algona, Jim Wilcox (Deb) of Algona and Jody Solbach (Tony) of Algona; and her grandchildren, Jake Witt (Megan), Jesse Wilcox (Kendra), Bridget Schlievert, Jamie Wubben (Nate), Andy Schlievert, Jennifer Markway (Cameron), Isaac Solbach, Samuel Solbach, Tora Solbach and Suzana Eischstaedt.
Betty's funeral is by invitation only due to the Covid-19 restrictions.
Betty was especially proud of her and Ed's generous donation to help build the Ed & Betty Wilcox Performing Art Center that was completed in January of 2017.
