She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Eichhorn and Bertha Eichhorn (Davis); her husband Gerald Soderberg; and her brothers, Lee, John (Jack) and James Eichhorn.

She is survived by: her children, Marcia Elliott (Dennis) of Canon City, CO, Cindy Roland (Steve) of North Liberty, Pam Madison (Kent) of Lone Rock, Chuck Soderberg (Dawn) of Ankeny and Steve Soderberg (Marcia) of Broomfield, CO; her siblings, Marjorie Person, Nancy Lloyd, Judy Bresley (Terry), Susan Shoup, Sally Huber (Eldon), Mark Eichhorn (Darla), Neil Eichhorn and Leslie Eichhorn (Vicki); and her brother-in-law Philip Soderberg (Roberta). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and many step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
