He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry H. Blom and Julia Blom (Meyer) of Alexander, Iowa.; his daughters, Pamela Luiken and Cheryl Berger; his sisters, Beulah Blom and Clara Mae Hopkey; his brother-in-law LaVern Hopkey; and his son-in-law Larry Luiken.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Chad Babinet of Ames and Kristin Kudelka of Marshalltown; his nephews, Larry Hopkey of Albert Lea, MN. and Edward Hopkey of Gibson City, IL.; and his cousin Glen Hansen. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great- great-grandchildren.
