With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rodger Schubel of Alburnett, Iowa, born in Brainerd, Minnesota, who passed away on June 26, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schubel and Emily Schubel (Gladden); his wives, Darlene Schubel and Lois Trainor-Schubel; and his children, Rawn Schubel and Jeannine Slezak.

He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Railsback (Josh) of Shellsburg and Lynn Barrett (Kenny) of Montezuma; his grandchildren, Jeromy (Reana), Joshua Regina (Beth), Jessica, Nathan, Nicole (Aaron) and Ben; and his great grandchildren, Miranda, Dakota, Autumn and Andrew.

Memorial contributions may be made to Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
