He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Millard and Naomi Millard (Edaburn); his wife Jean Millard; and his former wife Shirley Millard. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Thomas Millard (Charme) of Morrison and Terri Brokel of Springville, Iowa; and his grandchildren, Luke Millard, Michaela Millard, Colby VanAntwerp (Patience), Aubrie Brokel and Collin Brokel. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
