James Washburn Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Washburn of Alburnett, Iowa, born in Fayette, Iowa, who passed away on October 7, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gay Washburn and Elizabeth Washburn (Briney); his wife Rita Washburn; his daughter Cathy Washburn; and his siblings, Edwin, Everett, Maxine, Genevieve, Margaret and George.
He is survived by: his children, Don Washburn (Dolores) of Cedar Rapids, Susan Kinkead (Mike) of Hiawatha, Ron Washburn (Deb) of Cedar Rapids, Ralph Washburn of Alburnett and Ray Washburn of Nichols, Iowa. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
