Mike Smolik Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mike Smolik of Albion, Iowa, born in Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Thaddeus "Ted" Smolik; and his father-in-law Wayne Edwards. He is survived by: his mother Jane Smolik (Ferris); his wife Carol Smolik; his son Michael Smolik; his stepdaughters, Edie Glenn (David) and Rae Ann Pierce; his stepgrandchildren, Asher and Noah Glenn; his sisters, Sheryl Smolik, Susan Pinkston (Neal) and Mary Smolik-Brown (Brett); and his pet Puma. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Journey Church or the VA Association to help other veterans in need.
