He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Balvanz and Fern Balvanz (Hutzel); his brother Dennis; and his siblings-in-law, Ralph Boomgarden and Betty Balvanz.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Fiscus; his daughters, Kimberly Jean and Kim Canaday (Brett); his grandchildren, Whitney Canaday and Wade Canaday (Samantha Snyder); and his siblings, Jerry Balvanz, Maxine Boomgarden and Darla Mabe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
