She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Larry Thomas and Ula Thomas (Samburg); her significant other Corwin "Corkee" Keeler; and her children, Kendra Nestrud, Kimarie McKeever (Jon), Kristy Keeler and Kent Keeler (Dawn). She was also cherished by nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous extended family.

Memorials may be directed to the Albion Public Library or to Iowa River Hospice.
