He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smith and Marcella Smith (Dale); and his sisters-in-law, LaDonna Smith and Mary Smith. He is survived by: his children, Barbara Crocker, Terry Neal and Kenneth Smith; his granddaughter Jessica Crocker; his siblings, Karol Smith (Jodi) of Washington, Danny Smith of Arizona, Ernie Smith of Ackworth, IA and Martha Hoover (Bob) of Albia, IA; his stepchildren, Bucky Brink and Mindy Conn (Pete); and his stepgrandchildren, Barza Graf (John), Ocean Brink, Cyriss Brink, Zachary Conn, Lailynn Conn and Maddy Brink. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.
According to the rules put in place by the Iowa Department of Public Health, proper social distancing and reasonable personal protective equipment is advised for attending a religious public event.
A memorial has been established to the family.
