He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxine Elswick (Carlton) and Donald Elswick; his grandparents, Roy "Pampy", Martha Elswick, Leslie and Mayme Carlton; and his parents-in-law, Winston Sr. and Lorene Pace.
He is survived by: his wife Lucy Elswick; his children, Jason Elswick (Sarah) of Kirkwood, IL, Jennie Stephens (Gary) of Albia, Jon Elswick (Amy) of Albia, Jill Kosman of Albia and Chris Wirtjes of Albia; his grandchildren, Sydney, Ethan Elswick, Nicole Stephens (Dusty Long), Kasi Overmyer (Kile), Spencer Stephens, Hannah, Hayleigh Starr, Hayden Elswick, Carter, Collin Kosman and Wrenlee Wirtjes; his great grandchildren, Averie Harris, Ella Long, Madilynn and Brecken Overmyer; and his siblings, Donna Hindman (Larry) of Albia and Robert Elswick (Barb) of Albia.
