He is survived by: his wife Judith Marie Cornwell (Drummond) of Belton Missouri; his children, Richard Allen Cornwell Jr. of Belton, Rebecca Ann Smith (Cornwell) of Des Moines, Richelle Marie Cornwell (Shae) of Belton, Rilinda Mae Cornwell (Lynzee) of Harrisonville, Missouri and Darian Cornwell of Belton; his son-in-law Derek Lawerence Smith of Des Moines; and his grandsons, Daniel Eugene Smith of DesMoines, Jaxon Lee Smith of DesMoines and Jacob Johnston Parks Jr. of Harrisonville, Missouri..
