We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2023, at the age of 97, Reverta Charlene Brown Stewart of Albia, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Laws and Bertha Laws (Whicker); her husbands, Roscoe Brown and Eugene Stewart; her children, Dixie, Mike and Paul; her stepchildren, Robert Stewart, Marilyn Herrald and Gary Stewart; and her sisters, Edra Robinson and Jessidine Polson.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Patterson, Bill Brown (Eva), Judy Hixson, Barbara Shaw (Raymond "John") and Cindy Rhodes; and her stepchildren, Dale Stewart, Beverly Stewart-Smith, Dean Stewart, Ruth Stewart and James Stewart. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 59 great grandchildren; 40 great-great grandchildren with more on the way; her step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
