She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul George and Beulah George (Frazier); her husband Ray Selix; her sisters, Iva Mae Milbourn (Norman) and Juanita Sample (Wayne); her parents-in-law, Arlo and Mary Selix; and her siblings-in-law, Alice and Carl Johnson. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins.
A memorial has been established to the First Family Church in Albia.
